Hi!

I think it's important that newcomers can connect with their Dutch environment. For me, it was essential for feeling at home.

My mother is American and my father Dutch and I've lived, in England, the United States, and since I was nine, I've lived in the Netherlands. I am fluent in both English and Dutch, but I do have a Dutch accent when speaking English.

I got my training at Berlitz, in the Natural Method. By now, I have 7 years of teaching experience and language improvisation techniques. When I saw how crucial improvisation was in language learning, and how beneficial improvisational techniques were, something started ticking. Unfortunately, there is only little room in the common Coutinho courses, and the publisher has become quite dominant over the years, I decided to jump to the opportunity and offer the city some deserved diversity. And so I started Hoezo in 2023. That, hopefully, you're taking the opportunity to discover a bit here on this platform!
